Big lottery prize was just won in this part of Ontario

A big lottery prize was won in Ontario over the Labour Day long weekend.

The Lottario jackpot, which starts at $250,000, had grown to more than $2.18 million for Saturday’s draw.

And sure enough, one ticket matched six out of six numbers to win the huge prize.

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation told INsauga.com that the winning ticket was purchased somewhere in Ajax.

That ticket is now worth $2,182,874.10.

It was the biggest Lottario prize to be won in Ontario since June 21, when a prize of $2,512,670.80 was won in Norfolk County, the OLG said.
