A lottery jackpot has been split between two tickets in Canada.
There were two winners for Wednesday’s Lotto 6/49 classic draw.
The $5 million prize was split between two tickets sold in western Canada, according to the Western Canada Lottery Corporation.
The WCLC says one of the tickets was sold in Edmonton. The other is listed more generally as having been sold in Alberta.
Alberta is on a bit of a hot streak with the 6/49 classic jackpot. The prize was won two other times recently by tickets sold in Calgary.
Meanwhile, the $1 million gold ball draw prize for Wednesday’s draw was sold in British Columbia.
The British Columbia Lottery Corporation says that ticket was sold in west Vancouver.
Here’s a look at the winning numbers for the Wednesday, July 2 Lotto 6/49 draw, according to the WCLC:

Saturday’s Lotto 6/49 draw has the classic jackpot at its fixed $5 million, as well as the gold ball jackpot at $16 million, or the guaranteed $1 million prize.
