$5 million lottery jackpot won in this city in Canada for second time in a week

A Canadian city has seen its second major lottery win in just one week.

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation told INsauga.com that the $5 million Lotto 6/49 classic jackpot was won in Western Canada for Wednesday’s draw.

The Western Canada Lottery Corporation says that winning ticket was sold somewhere in Calgary.

Just last week, in the June 18 Lotto 6/49 draw, the $5 million classic jackpot was also won by a ticket sold in Calgary.

The $1 million gold ball draw prize, meanwhile, was won in Alberta as well for the most recent draw, the WCLC says.

Last weekend, a ticket sold in Ontario won the $34 million gold ball jackpot.

Saturday’s Lotto 6/49 draw has the classic jackpot at its fixed $5 million, as well as the gold ball jackpot at $12 million, or the guaranteed $1 million prize.
