Bicycle-Riding Suspect Sought in Oakville Robbery

Halton police are looking for a suspect in relation to a convenience store robbery in Oakville.

The incident took place in Kerr Village on Sept. 20 at 9:30 p.m.

That’s when a male suspect – wearing a black balaclava – entered the M & M Variety Store on Kerr St., between Prince Charles Dr. and Elmwood Rd.

The male, armed with a plastic pellet gun, demanded money.

A struggled ensued between the victim and the suspect.

He fled on a bicycle, heading southbound on Kerr with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The victim wasn’t physically injured, say investigators.

The male suspect is white, 25-to-30-years-old, standing six-feet, weighing 200 pounds. He was wearing a grey Reebok sweatshirt turned inside out over a red T-shirt, beige cargo pants, and dark shoes with white laces.
