Beach clean-up part of Burlington Earth Day activities

Earth Burlington beach clean litter

Cleaning up the beach is just one of the activities you can take part in on Earth Day in Burlington.

This Saturday, April 27, you can visit the BurlingtonGreen Eco-Hub which will be the centre of activities.

BurlingtonGreen, the local environmental association, will be available to answer questions from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the hub located at 1094 Lakeshore Road.

Starting at 10 a.m., local Indigenous spiritual healer WhiteEagle will lead a brief gathering with an Earth Day blessing.

Then, at 11 a.m. a clean-up of the beach will take place followed later in the day with games, craft building to assist local wildlife, and opportunities to learn more about the local environment.
