‘Avoid area:’ Hamilton collision sends driver to hospital; major roads closed

A driver was transported to hospital on Wednesday after a single-vehicle collision on the Hamilton Mountain.
The Hamilton Police Service responded at around 11:10 a.m.
PLEASE AVOID AREA@HamiltonPolice are investigating a single vehicle collision in the area of Upper Gage Ave. & Rymal Rd.E
One driver transported to hospital.
Please avoid the below listed area as the investigation continues.

While details about the collision were not provided, police used Twitter to instruct the public to avoid the area.
Upper Gage is closed between Sinena Ave. and Rymal Rd., and Rymal is closed between Miles Rd. and Grayrocks Ave.
