Art Gallery of Hamilton’s annual Art Sale back to in-person for 2022

The Art Gallery of Hamilton will be holding its annual Art Sale in person later this month in support of local artists and arts programming.

The 2022 Art Sale is expected to feature 350 artworks by more than 100 artists from across the Hamilton region. Pieces will be available in a variety of artistic mediums including painting, photography, mixed media and more.

For the past couple of years, the sale has been held virtually due to the pandemic. This year, in-person viewing for the sale, in the Joey and Toby Tanenbaum Pavilion at the AGH will begin on April 28.

The sale can also be viewed online and new this year, the Art Sale will be rendered in 3D for an immersive virtual walkthrough.

Last year, despite pandemic restrictions, the sale was able to return approximately $185,000 to participating artists.

The hours for the Art Sale are as follows:

Saturday, April 30 11 am – 4 pm
Sunday, May 1 11 am – 4 pm
