April 23 Weather: Late morning and afternoon showers expected in southern Ontario

Here comes the rain.

The GTA will grow increasingly cloudy over the early morning hours Tuesday (April 23), with a 60 per cent chance of showers hitting the area late in the morning and into the afternoon, says the forecast from Environment Canada.

Wind will become southwest at 30 km/h gusting to 50 km/h in the morning. The temperature is set to reach a high of 15 degrees Celsius with the UV index at five or moderate.

Tomorrow night will also be wet with cloudy conditions and a 60 per cent chance of showers. Winds will be southwest at 30 km/h gusting to 50 and becoming light near midnight.

After midnight, winds will become north at 40 km/h and gusting to 60 km/h after midnight.

The nighttime low will be chilly at plus two.

Wednesday (April 24) will feature of mix of sun and clouds with a 40 percent chance of showers and a high of nine, before things clear up at night.
