Andy Kim headlines New Years Eve concert at Burlington Performing Arts Centre

Andy Kim and friends will be headlining a New Years Eve performance at the Burlington Performing Arts Centre.

This will be the third year the concert has been held and all proceeds go BPAC’s charitable Golden Ticket Program.

Kim has been a force on the Toronto music scene for more than a decade and much of his focus goes toward charitable endeavours.

He’s best know for hit songs like Rock Me Gently and Sugar Sugar.

The event will be hosted by by Seán Cullen, described as a master of improvisation and an accomplished impressionist who delights in the absurd.

For three decades, Cullen has dominated the Canadian comedy scene as an award-winning comedian, actor, recording artist, author and screenwriter.

The first of Kim’s friends who are confirmed to be joining the event is Ron Sexsmith, a three-time JUNO award-winner from St. Catharines.

Sexsmith has released 16 albums during his extensive career, and has headlined at Massey Hall and Royal Albert Hall.

The concert is being held Friday, Dec 31, at 8 p.m. in BPAC’s main theatre.

Regular tickets cost $69.50 and VIP tickets are $89.50. There are discounts available for members.

The VIP ticket includes a post-show artist Meet & Greet with complimentary sparkling wine & hors d’oeuvres

The BPAC members pre-sale started today and the public sale starts Friday at 9 a,m.
