Ancaster power outage affects 300-plus customers

A power outage in the west Hamilton community of Ancaster is expected to last until the early evening.
Alectra Utilities is reporting that 302 homes and businesses in the area of Wilson Street East to Golf Links Road to Hwy. 403 are affected by the outage. The expected time of resumption (ETR) is 7 p.m. on Thursday (Sept. 2).
UPDATE: As of 6 p.m., the outage is down to 21 customers, but their ETR is now 10 p.m.
