Upscale smash burgers are coming to the border of Mississauga in Oakville.

A new restaurant called Bo. Vine Burgers and Bar is set to open a new location this spring in the Oakville Entertainment Centrum at 2075 Winston Park Dr, near Dave and Busters.

Robert Santilla, one of the owners of the new restaurant, told inhalton.com that while the name is similar to a chain in the U.S., Bo. Vine is a brand new concept that is not affiliated with the American company.

“We’re not involved in the Bo & Vine concept in the States,” he says, adding that the new restaurant is independently owned.

He says the restaurant will feature some more upscale offerings.

“We’ll do smash burgers with Wagyu beef. We’re more upscale but more approachable in terms of price points.”

As far as the menu goes, the website says the resto will offer a range of Wagyu smash burgers with various toppings, a veggie burger, slow-roasted lamb dip, a butter poached lobster roll, a fried chicken sandwich and more. Other items on offer include house-smoked wings, pork belly bao buns, lobster beignets, calamari, mushroom bolognaise, ginger dashi salmon, Bo.Vine banana bread pudding and more.

A range of cocktails will also be available.

Santilla says the restaurant is expected to open later this spring.

Editor’s note: The original version of this article said Bo.Vine was affiliated with the US-based chain Bo & Vine. The restaurants are not affiliated. We regret the error.
