The following is a summary of COVID-19 outbreaks declared by public health at long-term care facilities during the week of December 28 to January 3.

New outbreaks were declared at the following facilities over the past week:


Peel Region:

  • The Beechwood Mississauga at 1500 Rathburn Rd E, Mississauga – 1 case (staff). Outbreak declared on December 28.
  • Tullamore Care Community at 133 Kennedy Rd S, Brampton – 3 cases (1 resident, 2 staff). Outbreak declared on December 29.
  • Bough Beeches Retirement Home at 1130 Bough Beeches Blvd, Mississauga – 2 cases (1 resident, 1 staff). Outbreak declared on December 30.
  • Sheridan Villa at 2460 Truscott Dr, Mississauga – 2 cases (staff). Outbreak declared on January 1.
  • King Gardens Place Retirement Home at 85 King St E, Mississauga – 1 case (staff). Outbreak declared on January 1.

Halton Region:

  • Bennett Centre at 1 Princess Anne Drive, Georgetown – 1 case (non-Halton). Outbreak declared on December 28.
  • Trafalgar Lodge at 299 Randall St, Oakville – 1 case (unspecified). Outbreak declared on January 1.

Hamilton:

  • Clarion Nursing Home at 337 Hamilton Regional Rd 8, Stoney Creek – 1 case (staff). Outbreak declared on December 29.
  • Extendicare Hamilton at 90 Chedmac Dr, Hamilton – 1 case (staff). Outbreak declared on December 31.
  • Regina Gardens Long Term Care Residence at 536 Upper Paradise Rd, Hamilton – 1 case (staff). Outbreak declared on January 1.
  • Macassa Lodge at 701 Upper Sherman Ave, Hamilton – 5 cases (2 residents, 3 staff). Outbreak declared on January 1.
  • Parkview Nursing Centre at 545 King St W, Hamilton – 1 case (staff). Outbreak declared on January 2.
  • Caroline Place Retirement Residence at 118 Market St, Hamilton – 1 case (staff). Outbreak declared on January 2.
