An Ajax teen faces charges in an Ontario home invasion and robbery.
The charges stem from an early morning home invasion on Bailey Drive in Orangeville on Nov. 3, Ontario Provincial Police said.
The preliminary investigation revealed that people forcefully entered the home, police said. Police said the people demanded valuables from the resident and fled before officers arrived.
On Wednesday, OPP announced an arrest in the case.
Jalen Harriott, 18, of Ajax, faces a long list of charges including robbery using firearm, uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, assault with a weapon, pointing a firearm and break-and-enter.
The investigation is ongoing and police ask anyone with information to contact the Dufferin Major Crime Unit at 1-888-310-1122.
