Ajax man wins $118,000-plus in LOTTO MAX draw

Kian Hinkson of Ajax has $118,381.10 to put toward his dreams after winning a LOTTO MAX second prize in the March 15 draw.
Hinkson says he plays the lottery twice a week. “I watched my family play this game, so I wanted to try my luck,” he shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings.
The 22-year-old discovered his big win one morning before work. “I ran to tell my mom – we are both so happy.”
Hinkson plans to put his win towards education and treat his mom to a vacation for her birthday.
OLG is booking in-person prize claim appointments at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto. We strongly encourage those with claims between $1,000 and $49,999.90 to submit them online or mail them, as appointment availability at this prize level is limited. LOTTO MAX players in Ontario have won more than $6.9 billion since 2009, including 91 jackpot wins and 741 MAXMILLIONS prizes, right across the province. LOTTO MAX is $5 per play and draws take place on Tuesdays and Fridays.
