Ajax man wins $100,000 in January LOTTO MAX draw

Jason Hooper of Ajax went through “two waves” of shock before realizing he had won $100,000 in the January 13 LOTTO MAX draw.
Hooper, who matched the last six numbers on his ticket, said he was “stunned” when the cashier scanned his ticket and he heard the winning jingle.
“I had no idea what was going on – I couldn’t process it,” said the 46 year-old father. “I went through two waves of shock and then ran to the car to get my phone and call my wife.”
Hooper plans to pay bills, invest, and take it one day at a time, though he is considering a trip to Scotland. “It’s truly shocking – I have always dreamt of winning and now it’s a reality.”
