Ajax couple wins $50,000 on Instant Sonic ticket after nearly 30 years playing the lotto

A couple from Ajax is “in shock” after a $50,000 lottery win after playing the lotto for 27 years.

Zoranco and Luba Dimkovski bought the winning ticket from the Petro Canada on Simcoe St in Oshawa. When the Zoranco scratched the ticket, he was “in shock” over the win.

Luba told OLG when in Toronto to claim the prize, “My husband found out about the win.” Zoranco added “I was in shock. It was just disbelief.”

The Dimovskis are going to help their daughter and son-in-law open their own business with the winning, with Zaranco saying “It’s so exciting. This fulfilled a portion of my dream.”

The Instant Sonic Multiplier is a $10 scratch ticket with a top prize of $25o,000. There is a one in 3.84 chance of winning any prize on the tickets.

OLG said, “We strongly encourage those with claims between $1,000 and $49,999.90 to submit them online or mail them in. Submitting claims online is fast and secure. Customers with prizes over $50,000 are asked to call 1-800-387-0098 to discuss available prize claim options.”
