Ajax couple left breathless by $50,000 lotto win

An Ajax couple was left breathless after winning $50,000 on an instant scratch ticket.
The married couple, Maureen and Frederick Chafe are regular lottery players. However, Maureen decided to try something different when she went to Sam’s Food Store & Smoker Discount on Hunt Street in Ajax.
For the first time, she picked up the $10 Instant Jackpot Multiplier to stunning results. “When I checked the ticket and saw we won $50,000, I had to take a step back. I was shocked,” Maureen later told the OLG, ” “It literally took my breath away. The cashier kept telling me to breathe.”
She called Frederick right away to tell him the news. From there, word spread quickly, “All of our friends and family know. They were jumping up and down when we told them,” Frederick said.
“We’re very grateful for this. It’s a little bit of freedom for us,” Maureen said. The pair plan on a cruise ship vacation and a new computer to celebrate. The rest is going into their retirement fund.
