Local air travel has always been an ensemble show, as Ontario hosts numerous high-traffic airports, including Pearson International Airport, Hamilton International Airport and the Region of Waterloo International Airport.

With Pearson seeing skyrocketing numbers over the past year, and Waterloo celebrating its own increase in operating capacity, it would only makes sense that someone would connect these facilities to help those travelling in and out of the province.

Enter Air Canada, who in a recent press release, revealed a luxury motorcoach program that will help travellers connect to Pearson via Hamilton and Waterloo with ease. The program will provide six daily round trips between the three airports to help facilitate easier travel. This new venture is also the byproduct of Air Canada teaming up with the American shuttle company Landline

However, any traveller taking to the sky would naturally be wary of adding more moving pieces to their travel schedule, as any additional variable may increase the risk of delay. As a result of this common travel anxiety, Air Canada has integrated the itineraries of each individual who uses the motorcoach services, including checked baggage and Aeroplan points.

Air Canada says anyone who uses the new motorcoach program will be passed directly through security screening, ensuring a smooth transfer without having to restart the check-in process.

According to Air Canada’s official release, bookings for the luxury motorcoach program are live as of today (Feb. 22).
