A pedestrian has been taken to a trauma centre after being struck by a vehicle in Mississauga.

Peel police say the incident occurred in the Kennedy Road and Indian Summer Trail area.

The pedestrian has been taken to a trauma centre.

The extent of the victim’s injuries are not known, police say.

Police say the vehicle remained on scene.

Southbound Kennedy Road is closed at the intersection
