A motorcyclist is dead following a collision in Brampton

A motorcyclist is dead after a collision happened in the early hours of this morning (Aug. 6) in Brampton.
Peel Regional Police responded to reports shortly before 4 a.m. of a crash involving a motorcycle in the area of Chinguacousy Rd. near Flowertown Ave.
Police say a motorcycle and a Toyota vehicle were both believed to be travelling northbound on Chinguacousy Rd. when they collided.
The male motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police did not say whether the driver of the Toyota sustained any injuries.
At this time the cause of the collision is unknown.
