A Hamilton man is wanted for an alleged assault

Hamilton Police are looking for a man in connection to a serious assault.

On Feb. 3, at approximately 1:50 p.m., it is alleged that a man entered a business at 1660 Upper James St in Hamilton and attacked an employee, causing serious injuries.

Police say the suspect fled the area on foot and headed northbound.

The suspect is described as a man with black hair and a receding hairline, wearing a green camo-patterned winter jacket, a trapper hat, blue medical mask and grey khakis.

Further investigations reveal that a driver of a red Toyota Camry with winter rims is believed to be a witness to this event and police would like to speak to them.

Officers request the public to not approach the suspect as he dangerous and could be armed.
