Is the Pickering Museum Village haunted? Who’s to say, but if spooky walks through ancient lands and buildings is your cup of tea, the pioneer Village in north Pickering has just the thing.

Ghost Walks, a guided tour through the historic village at night – complete with ghost stories – are a regularly scheduled event, with one such walk scheduled for tonight from 7 p.m. to 8:45 p.m.

Not to worry if this bit of news is too short of a notice – there are Ghost Walks scheduled for Saturday, October 8; Thursday, October 13; Friday, October 14; Saturday, October 15 and Thursday, October 20.

Each tour runs from 7-8:45 and on each tour you will hear stories from the past that still haunt us today. Learn about paranormal investigations that have found evidence of spirits and ghosts and hear about tragedies that actually took place in Pickering’s not-so-ancient history.

Tickets are $25 (taxes included) and the minimum age for the Ghost Walks is 12.

The Pickering Museum Village is located at 3550 Greenwood Road, just south of Concession 6 and Highway 7.

For more information give the museum a call at (905) 683-8401.
