Trio of armed gunmen on the loose after Ajax robbery

Durham Police Investigators are asking for the public’s help in identifying three armed robbery suspects accused of robbing a man at gunpoint in Ajax last week.

West Division officers responded to a robbery call just before seven a.m. on September 28 from a parking lot near Westney Road and Highway 2 in Ajax.

Investigators received a tip that the three suspects, who fled the area in a black Jeep Cherokee with a white dealer plate, robbed a lone man of cash at gunpoint.  The victim did not sustain any physical injuries.

All three suspects are described as males, in their 30s with tanned complexions.

Anyone with any new information about this robbery, including any dash cam footage in the area, is asked to contact D/Cst. D’Andrea or D/Cst Chrzan of the West Division Criminal Investigations Bureau at 905-579-1520 ext. 2526/2565.
