UPDATE: 83-year-old missing man last seen walking in Hamilton

UPDATE: Hamilton police say they are continuing the search for Frederick Dalton and have released images showing his last known location, which was the Tim Horton’s located inside Centre Mall.

Police are asking for the public’s help in safely locating and bringing home an 83-year-old man who was last seen in Hamilton’s east end on Saturday.

Frederick Dalton, a resident of Hamilton, was last spotted walking near Beach Road and Kenilworth Avenue North around 2 p.m.

Investigators describe him as 5-foot-4 tall, with a thin build and light complexion. He has long grey hair, a grey beard and a moustache.

Dalton is believed to be wearing a tan suede jacket, a dark-coloured T-shirt, jeans, black shoes and a blue baseball hat.

Hamilton Police say they are concerned for his well-being.
