81-year-old Hamilton man has been reported missing

The Hamilton police and the family of Gerlando Bonomo are concerned for the well-being of the 81-year-old man, who was reported missing on Tuesday (Jan. 25).

The Hamilton Police Service said that Bonomo was last seen around 4 p.m. on Tuesday after leaving his residence. He is known to ride Hamilton Street Railway buses, as well as attend the areas of Eastgate Square, James Street, and Bayfront Park in Hamilton.

Gerlando Bonomo is described as a white man who stands five-foot-five with a heavy build. He has short, light-grown and grey hair, and a brown-grey mustache. He was last seen wearing a black knee-length peacoat, beige corduroy pants, possibly a black or brown duckbill hat, and running shoes.

Young woman remains missing

Earlier Tuesday, Hamilton Police Service reiterated that the search continues for 23-year-old Emily Kathryn Bailey, who has been missing since Jan. 10.

Anyone with information about Bailey or her whereabouts should contact Det.-Cst. Kimberley Walker at 905-540-6477. She is described as a white woman who stands about five-foot-four and weighs about 100 pounds with a very slim build. She has shoulder-length black/brown hair, often with dyed blue or green highlights. Emily Bailey also has visible tattoos that include an elephant on her left forearm, and a Batman symbol on the outside of her right forearm.
