Seven teens face attempted murder charges in an alleged Brampton stabbing.

Emergency crews were called for reports of a fight near a Brampton school on Feb. 27.  A 17-year-old was found injured with an apparent stab wound at Sandalwood Parkway East and Torbram Road in Brampton on Feb. 27 at 11:15 a.m., Peel Regional Police say in a press release.

The teen was transported to hospital in life-threatening condition, police say. The injuries were later deemed serious but non-life-threatening.

An 18-year-old man from Brampton and six male youths face attempted murder charges in connection to the incident.

During the investigation, police searched Brampton homes and two vehicles, police add. Police seized two replica firearms.

Modaser Mosmer, 18, of Brampton, faces attempted murder charges.

Six male youths, who can not be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, are also charged with attempted murder. One youth faces an additional charge of pointing a firearm and uttering death threats.

The teens were held for bail hearings and have appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
