Teen stabbed during fight near Brampton school

A Brampton teen has been rushed to hospital after being stabbed during a fight on Monday morning (Feb. 27).

Peel Regional Police say officers were called to the Sandalwood Pkwy. and Torbram Rd. area just after 11:15 a.m. for reports of a fight. Police say a male youth was stabbed during the incident near a local school.

A spokesperson for Peel Paramedics confirmed that a 17-year-old male was transported to hospital in serious but stable condition.

Several vehicles fled the area but no suspect descriptions have been released.
