The jackpot for Lottario this week is unusually large, sitting at nearly $2 million.

The jackpot was last won more than a month ago, on Dec. 21, when a ticket sold in York Region won $1,430,311.00.

That prize still hasn’t been claimed, the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) told INsauga.com on Monday.

With it being several weeks since the top prize was won, this Saturday’s jackpot has grown to an estimated $1,950,000.

The Lottario jackpot starts at $250,000 and grows until it’s won.

While this week’s top prize is big, it’s not quite the biggest ever.

Here is a look at the top five largest Lottario jackpots in history, according to the OLG:

  1. $3,430,000  – May 6, 2017
  2. $2,810,000 – July 28, 2018
  3. $2,760,000 -April 29, 2017
  4. $2,600,000 – Oct. 11, 2008
  5. $2,540,000 – March 12, 2022

The OLG said that in 2024, the Lottario jackpot was more than $1 million seven times and in 2023, it was more than $1 million five times.

The last time it was around $2 million was in 2024 and it was won on April 13, at $2.04 million, the OLG said.

Lottario is played on Saturdays. It is only available in Ontario.

You get two sets of six numbers from one to 45 for each $1 play.
