An unusually large jackpot is up for grabs this week with Lottario.

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) told INsauga.com that Lottario was last won more than a month ago.

On Dec. 21, a ticket sold in York Region won the $1,430,311.00 jackpot. That prize still hasn’t been claimed.

The Lottario jackpot starts at $250,000 and grows until it’s won.

With it now more than five weeks since the top prize was won, the jackpot has grown to an estimated $1,950,000 for the draw this Saturday (Feb. 1).

The last time the Lottario jackpot was around the $2 million mark was in 2024 and it was won on April 13, at $2.04 million.

Last year, the Lottario jackpot was more than $1 million seven times and in 2023, it was over $1 million five times.

The largest Lottario jackpot ever was on May 6, 2017 at $3,430,000.

The game is played once weekly and costs $1 per play.
