16 calls for damage and theft in cars in Mississauga came into police

Police are searching for a person involved in a series of automobile mischief incidents in the Mississauga—Malton area and are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect.

On Wednesday, (May 1) Peel Regional Police responded to 16 calls for damage and theft of property from vehicles parked on Bayswater Crescent and Rockhill Road in Malton.

Days later, on Saturday (May 4), authorities received an additional 20 reports concerning vehicles parked on or near Dunrankin Drive in Mississauga, bringing the total number of calls to 36.

Police suspect a link between the incidents and believe they may have been perpetrated by the same individual, although this has not been confirmed.

Investigators have released surveillance images of the accused along with a description. The suspect is described as a white man around 20-25 years old. He is 6 feet tall with a slim build. He was last seen wearing dark clothing and Nike running shoes.
