3 gun-point convenience store robberies in Hamilton

Hamilton Police Service investigates a series of armed robberies that took place on the Hamilton Mountain this morning (July 3).

Police say two adult males entered three separate convenience stores between 6:30 a.m. and 8 a.m., brandishing a handgun and demanding cash.

The stores that were targeted are a Busy Bee, Cardinal Variety, and Anytime Convenience.

An investigation into the robberies resulted in the arrest of two men who are being held for a bail hearing on July 4.

Police say a replica gun used during the robberies was recovered.
