2 suspects wanted in the violent carjacking that took place in Milton plaza

Arrest warrants have been issued for Shawn Moore and Gary Walker — two Brampton men whom the Halton police allege pulled a woman out of her SUV in the Metro plaza in Milton on Tuesday and absconded with the car.

The violent carjacking was captured on video by a bystander and entered media circulation through a Facebook group used by mothers in Milton. The two men who yanked the woman out of the SUV at Louis St. Laurent Ave. and Thompson Rd. S. also pulled up in a white pickup truck, which the Halton Regional Police (HRPS) say was stolen.

Police released photos of both suspects early on Friday evening.

“If you see either suspect, DO NOT APPROACH, and call police immediately,” HRPS states.

Moore, 38, is wanted for robbery, possession of property obtained by crime (over $5,000), mischief, theft under $5,000, and three counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 (3 counts).

Walker, 37, is wanted on those same counts, as well as three counts of failure to remain at the scene of a collision and one count of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
