2 big lottery prizes were just won in this Canadian province

Two big lottery prizes have been won in Quebec.

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation told INsauga.com that the $5 million Lotto 6/49 classic jackpot was won by a ticket sold there.

The Lotto 6/49 classic jackpot has now been won a total of nine times in 2025, the OLG said.

The $1 million gold ball draw prize was also won in Quebec for Wednesday’s draw.

Meanwhile, the OLG said Thursday that a $5 million lottery prize that was won last year by a ticket sold in Ontario has still not been claimed.

Saturday’s Lotto 6/49 draw has the classic jackpot at its fixed $5 million, as well as the gold ball jackpot at $50 million, or the guaranteed $1 million prize.
