$15 million lottery jackpot was just won in Canada

A big $15 million lottery jackpot was won in Canada Tuesday night.

One ticket matched seven out of seven numbers in the Lotto Max draw to take home the prize.

According to the Atlantic Lottery Corporation, that winning ticket was sold in Atlantic Canada.

In Miramichi, New Brunswick, to be specific.

Other than the main prize, one ticket matched six out of seven numbers plus the bonus to win the second prize of $136,351.10. The ALC says that ticket was sold in Ontario.

And 30 tickets matched six out of seven numbers to win $4,545.00.

These were the winning numbers for the Tuesday, Sept. 30 Lotto Max draw, according to the ALC website: 14, 22, 27, 31, 33, 39, 50, Bonus 07.

The jackpot for Friday’s Lotto Max draw now stands at an estimated $10 million.
