Calling Oakville, Mississauga, Hamilton and actually all North American residents, if you have a sweet tooth then Candy Funhouse may have the dream job for you.

North America’s largest online candy retailer is looking for the world’s first and only Chief Candy Officer (CCO).

That’s right, the full-time position requires you to eat candy and you’ll be paid $100,000 annually to do it. And, of course, there is a dental plan.

The work-from-home optional position includes approving all candy in inventory (from over 3,500 products) and deciding whether or not to give each treat the official CCO stamp of approval.

The sweet job is open to anyone residing in North America who is five years of age and older. No experience is needed, just a love for candy.

The CCO will be responsible for deciding which new products Candy Funhouse will be carrying, leading candy board meetings, being the head candy taste tester, and “taking charge on all things fun!”

The successful candidate will be put through extensive palate training and more. Everything he or she needs to be successful in the role will be provided by Candy Funhouse.

“Here at Candy Funhouse we’re all about FUN, and who better to set our FUNhouse strategy than someone that is a real candy fanatic!,” said Jamal Hejazi, CEO of Candy Funhouse.

“Whoever lands this position better be ready for the ride of their lives, and to have chocolate flowing through their veins. I’m thrilled for all the candy adventures we have planned!”

As for qualifications for the position, the CCO should have “an undying enthusiasm and eagerness to enjoy confectionary products.”

Candy Funhouse says it is looking for someone bold, creative, a natural born leader, ready to try new things, and that will give their honest opinion on all the candy they try.

Someone who has “golden taste buds, an obvious sweet tooth.”

To apply to the position, you can submit and follow the application process on the Candy Funhouse website here.

The deadline for submitting your application is August 31, 2022.
