Zamboni Experience returns to Oshawa’s Tribute Centre

What self-respecting hockey fan has not dreamed of operating a Zamboni? Well wannabe Zamboni drivers, you will get that chance this summer at the Tribute Communities Centre’s Zamboni Experience 2023.
The event was a hit last year – it sold out within days – and Tribute operators OVG360 are releasing more sessions this July, with bookings now available.
The Zamboni Experience is a crash course in all things Zamboni, which includes an opportunity to take one for a spin on the ice. The 60 to 90-minutes experience is designed for adults (18 and older) with a valid driver’s license to learn all about one of the most popular machines in the world, including how they operate, and how to drive them.
The Zamboni Experience package gives participants a chance to learn how the ice is created and maintained for the professionals of today and the future stars of tomorrow. The package includes:
- Classroom session where you will learn the fun facts about the Zamboni, and how OVG360 creates and maintains the ice at Tribute Communities Centre
- Opportunity to drive the Zamboni on the ice
- A commemorative digital photo of you on the Zamboni
- A certificate of completion
Each session has a capacity of 10-12 people and available session times are:
- Monday, July 17 – 7:30 p.m.
- Monday, July 24 – 7:30 p.m.
- Saturday, August 12 – 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.

The packages are $125 per person or $115 each when reserving a group of four or more. Corporate groups are encouraged to reserve a full, private session that can be scheduled with them outside of the sessions listed above with a special rate.
