Youths come up empty in attempt to rob Oakville pharmacy

Three male youths came up empty-handed in their attempt to rob a pharmacy in Oakville on Monday.

The trio entered the Oakville Town Centre Pharmacy, located at 300 North Service Rd. W., around 5 p.m. and tried to surround an employee behind the counter.

Fortunately for the employee, he was able to escape and the three youths then fled the area after getting into a black Jeep Wrangler parked in front of the pharmacy.

The three males did not grab any items and no weapons were seen or referenced to during the robbery attempt.

No physical injuries were reported to Halton police.

Investigators want to speak with anyone who may have been in the plaza and witnessed the robbery.
