Youth struck in motor vehicle collision in Brampton

Peel police received a call at 9:03 a.m.
Peel police received a call at 9:03 a.m. about a motor vehicle collision on Brisdale Drive and Sandy Beach Road in Brampton.
Police say a female youth was struck by a vehicle and the vehicle remained on the scene.
The female youth has been taken to a trauma centre but the status of injuries is unknown.
Police say Brisdale Drive shut down Mcrimmon Drive to Sandy Beach Road for some time.
UPDATE: Police say female is stable and roads are now open.
