A special kind of pop-up market is coming to Bramalea City Centre in Brampton this weekend.

On Saturday, March 18, the mall will host a variety of youth pop-up shops in Hudson’s Bay Court where shoppers will be able to support young entrepreneurs and their businesses.

In addition to over 10 youth vendors, the event will have entertainment, face painting, and giveaways.

The pop-up market is a partnership between the mall and Young Bosses in Business (YBIB), which was founded by two sisters: 13-year-old Sariah and 6-year-old Ariella.

YBIB organizes events to help young business owners between the ages of 6 and 17 years old showcase their products.

“We want to make sure young kids are given the opportunity to showcase their talents and businesses, so they know they’re never too young to start doing what they love and not only adults can be bosses, but young kids like us can be bosses too,” said Sariah and Ariella.

The market will be open from 9:30 a.m. until 9 p.m. on the 18th.

Partners for the event include BCC, Peel Police, and Seva Food Bank.
