A young woman is in hospital tonight after she was struck by a Jeep in Niagara Falls.

Police received the call about the collision shortly before 1:30 p.m. on September 23. A Jeep Cherokee had struck a woman, 22, by McLeod Rd and Pin Oak Dr. After striking the woman the Jeep continued forward and hit two light poles bringing down live wires.

When police arrived on the scene they found the woman in critical condition. Niagara paramedics and firefighters also responded to treat the woman’s injuries.
