Young driver nearly crashes into Georgetown pool

A young driver nearly crashed their car into a pool in Georgetown, police say.
Halton Regional Police posted the crash shortly after 8 p.m. on May 1. They wrote they had received numerous complaints about a driver in a residential neighbourhood that evening, but it didn’t take long to find the source.
The young driver behind the complaints lost control of his Dodge Challenger, left the roadway, and burst into a fenced off backyard. The car almost made its way into the backyard pool before coming to rest in a hedge.
The driver now faces multiple Highway Traffic Act charges.
