Masks can come off in Brampton beginning Monday (March 21) in almost all settings.

However, you will still have to wear the COVID coverings on public transit and indoor terminals, in healthcare settings, and at long-term care homes.

As for City-run facilities, it will be reverting to pre-pandemic conditions as all recreation centres and city hall will become mask-free areas and capacity limits and proof of vaccination requirements will all be lifted.

Of course, there are no regulations preventing anyone from wearing a mask if they choose to do so and residents are encouraged to continue to take precautions such as washing hands regularly, staying home if feeling unwell and continuing to receive all necessary vaccinations.
