Five, to be exact.

That’s right, a Brampton Library cardholder can download up to five music tracks per week – that adds up, especially when you’re looking to freshen up your playlist.

The tracks are standard MP3s, and the platform boasts tens of thousands of popular artists in hundreds of musical genres.

New tracks from JLo, Pharrell, Calvin Harris, and even Childish Gambino are available via Freegal.

All of the files are unlocked so you can also transfer them between your devices without restriction, and you can save your music to iTunes or Windows Media Player.

After you download the Freegal app from the Apple store or the Play store, here’s what you need to do to get the free tunes:

  • Once installed, enter your city or postal code and choose Brampton Library from the list of libraries.
  • Enter your library card number and PIN.
