Yard waste collection begins in Oakville, Milton, Burlington, Halton Hills

It’s that time of year again.
Starting next week yard waste collection starts in all urban areas of Halton Region.
The pick-up is the same day as you put out your garbage. You can check your online waste collection schedule: ow.ly/ovyA50R6uum.
This year yard waste will be collected every other week until December but there are a few rules to follow.
First, you can only use paper yard waste bags or open, labelled, reusable, rigid containers (no lid). As well, brush must be tied in bundles no larger than 2m x 1m (6ft x 3ft) wide, with branches a maximum of 7.5 cm (3 inches) in diameter.

- Giant hogweed
- Grass clippings
