Wreath-laying ceremony in Milton to cause temporary road closure

A wreath-laying ceremony in honour of Queen Elizabeth II will result in a temporary road closure today (Sept. 19) in Milton.
Queen Elizabeth II served as Queen of the United Kingdom, Canada and the Commonwealth for 70 years until her death on Sept. 8 at the age of 96.
The temporary road closure will take place on Mary St., between Charles St. and Brown St. from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Road closure: Mary Street, between Charles Street and Brown Street, will be closed today from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
This closure is to allow for the @royal_136 to hold their wreath laying ceremony at the Victoria Park Cenotaph, starting at 10:45 a.m.

The closure will allow the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #136 Milton to hold the ceremony at the Victoria Park Cenotaph starting at 10:45 a.m.
