One of the world’s best pizzerias is opening a second location in Toronto.
Pizzeria Badiali, a staple of Toronto’s west end, has been earning international acclaim as it secured a top spot in 2025’s Best Pizza Awards.
Famous for its gourmet takes on New York-style slices, the restaurant is most well-known for its crowning achievement, the Vodka Pie, served with spicy vodka rosé sauce, Fior di Latte, Pecorino, Padano, and Sicilian oregano.

Known for having round-the-block lines at its flagship restaurant on Dovercourt Rd, due to popularity, the owners behind Badiali have been teasing the opening of a new location — one that now finally has a firm address and opening date.

In a post to Instagram today, Pizzeria Badial officially announced that its long-awaited second location will be opening on Markham St, in the famous downtown Toronto hub, the Mirvish Village.
The post promises the same world-class consistency by simply stating, “New neighbourhood, same slice shop.”
While not much else has been revealed, Badiali promises that the location will open on May 11 and will be slinging slices from morning to night (or until they run out).
