From outdoor match screenings and movie nights to fan festivals and interactive exhibits, Brampton is preparing for a summer-long celebration of soccer leading up to the FIFA World Cup.
The City of Brampton has unveiled a lineup of free events as part of its “Where the Game Grows” campaign, culminating in a national FIFA World Cup community activation in July.
Mayor Patrick Brown said soccer has become an important part of Brampton’s identity and the city is looking to showcase that connection through a series of community events.
