UPDATE: One man dead after hang gliding accident in north Pickering

A man has died following a hang gliding accident in north Pickering, police have confirmed.
Police initially described the tragedy as a ‘workplace incident’ near Hwy 7 and Sideline 24 that sent two people to hospital with serious injuries. Durham Police said the tragedy happened around 2:30 p.m. Sunday.
The Ministry of Labour are investigating.
