It may still be winter in Brampton but the city is getting a jump start on summer hiring with its Parks and Recreation job fair.

The City of Brampton is looking for workers to take part-time positions in several departments this summer, including forestry, park maintenance, summer camps and much more.

With multiple openings available, the city is holding a job fair later this month to let interested residents learn about the different jobs and make their applications in person.

“Individuals can apply for job openings on the spot by bringing electronic resumes and completing a job application,” the city said in a release, adding that successful applicants will be contacted at a later date for an interview.

Applicants are asked to bring their digital resume on a USB key or flash drive.

Openings include but are not limited to summer camp leader ($17.43 per hour), inclusion/integration instructor ($20.67 per hour) and swim instructor ($22.37).

The City of Brampton’s Parks and Recreation job fair runs from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Feb. 22 at the Jim Archdekin Recreation Centre, located at 292 Conestoga Dr.
