Workers at a pair of LCBO stores in Mississauga have confirmed cases of COVID-19.
An infection was confirmed on Sept. 4 in a worker at the location at 5035 Hurontario St., with last day worked being Sept. 1.
On Sept. 2, there was a confirmed case at the LCBO location at 6975 Meadowvale Town Centre Circle. That employee’s most recent shift was on Aug. 30.
Grocery stores, liquor stores and fast-food restaurants self-disclose COVID-19 cases. Most have stated that locations after deep-cleaned and sanitized after a positive case.
Loblaw Companies Ltd. made a change to its COVID-19 reporting policy this summer and, as a result, no longer makes cases in its stores public.
